Kahoot!

According to the website, “Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that brings engagement and fun to 1+ billion players every year at school, at work, and at home. Sign up for free!”

Kahoot! is nearly always a hit, and very easy to use:

1. Create your free account and choose a trivia game by searching “discover” on the toolbar.
2. Once you find the game you’d like to use, choose “start” and then “classic mode” if you’d like each student to play independently.
3. Students enter a code onto their own devices at www.kahoot.it or the Kahoot! app and enter their name.
4. The game is broadcasted on your device and students choose from four multiple choice responses on their device.
5. Students who choose correctly, the quickest, gain the most points.
6. A report is available after the game so you can see how each student answered on each question.

There is a large database of games on Kahoot! focusing on various subjects and speech goals such as
