Inference “School Days” Board Game by Edupress amazon.com
Edupress offers two versions/reading levels of its Inference School Days board game on Amazon.com for just $21.95 at the time of this writing. Target inferences and reading comprehension in small group sessions of up to six students!
This board game has been a big hit for elementary school level in-person Speech and Language therapy sessions. I’ve been using the “red level,” which contains easier questions. Choose the “blue level” for more challenging inferential questions.
Some helpful information:
- The “red level” inferences game is rated for Reading Level 2.0 – 3.5
- The “blue level” inferences game is rated for Reading Level 3.5 – 5.0
- The object of the game is to make your way from elementary school through college graduation by reading short story cards that ask you to make an inference from the text.
- The “red level” inference cards contain a choice of three possible answers in multiple choice format. The cards are numbered and the correct answers to the cards are printed on the back of the box.
- There are four sets of cards: elementary school, middle school, high school and college. As students progress through the game board, they answer the questions from each school level.
